Matt Field is best known for shredding tires in the Formula Drift pro ranks. He's been driving Corvettes since the beginning, and is universally known as the Corvette guy by his friends and fans. Naturally, a C8 was the next step in his Corvette journey. Mid engine cars in drifting have never been done at the pro level, so him and his team at Drift Cave set out to build a show stopping C8.

The C8 uses an electric steering rack from the factory, and knowing the challenges in reverse engineering it, he opted to utilize his time proven recipe of the C6 hydraulic setup. The difference this time around? Electric hydraulic pump, controlled by the Hang Tight PSC.
